![]() Editors Live in Glasgow. Ein Bericht von Junior Soprano. I've seen Editors once again... that was my 4th time in less than 2 years and the effect on me was exactly the same as the previous 3 times. As a fan of everything sounding 80s I admit I loved Editors when The Back Room came out, that was an album I couldnt stop listening to, every song was perfect, they had that new wave kinda vibe I always adored. I remember getting mental the first time I saw them at the Barrowland and dancing and singing like a madman at T in The Park last year (that was my highlight of the festival together with Sigur Ros... but thats another thing). When the second album came out few months ago I found myself a little bit disappointed, just because it sounded more or less like their first one. Now I love it, because I heard it live and It really started growing on me. ![]() Live they are incredible, they are perfect, sometimes too perfect, Tom seems to be possessed and gives the best he can. Their last sold out gig at the Academy was a triumph, from the first notes of the opening An End Has A Start to the grand finale with Fingers (still their best song in my opinion). I might go back and see them in February, why not? Setlist: An End Has A Start You Are Fading |
